Not if you use the right amount at the right time, according to your needs! :)
You only need to apply a couple of drops to your hands, and gently massage it into the roots of your beard, massaging into the skin underneath with your fingers. Finish off by spreading the remaining oil from your hands over the rest of your beard hair, to the tips. We recommend doing this after you've showered and washed your beard. If you find this still gives a wet look that you don't like, just apply this at night before bed and wash off in the morning.
No! We know it feels counterintuitive, but not all oils are created equal. Argan oil has been scientifically proven to regulate sebum production. Over-production of sebum equals oily skin and breakouts. Argan oil helps tell your body to dial it back, ultimately evening out your skin oils and reducing any breakouts. Bonus is that it also heals the skin, so it helps repair acne scarring!
If you're applying it on dry or wet hair after your shower, you only need to apply 1-2 drops (max) of oil on your hands and lightly spread it throughout the hair. A little really goes a long way. If you're wanting to give your hair a full treatment/argan oil soak, then generously apply the oil throughout your hair, from scalp to ends. This will give an oily look for sure, so it's best to do this before bed or 30-60 mins before you shower (we do it before we go for a run or to the gym). Wash it out with your favourite shampoo after it's been soaking at least 30 minutes!
If it's still looking oily on your skin, there's a good chance you're applying too much. :) A little goes a long way with argan oil, so try applying fewer drops. Leave it 1-5 minutes to soak in. Otherwise if you think it still looks too oily, just skip the morning application and only apply it at night before bed!
For your skin - everyday! You really only notice the benefits and results of this magical oil with regular use. For the face, use it at least every night before bed. For the drier skins, also apply it in the mornings. For the hands, lips or for eczema, apply it as much as you need throughout the day. For your hair - at least twice a week is best! Ideally it's applied before every time before you wash you hair. :)
